Rasam Recipe
Rasam Recipe is an easy and straightforward recipe to make delicious. Rasam known as chaaru in Telugu and saaru in kanada. Hotel Stytel Rasam at home.
Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon oil
- 7 to 8 fenugreek seeds
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 teaspoons coriander seeds
- 6 dry red chillies
- 1 teaspoon grated coconut (optional)
- A few curry leaves (optional)
- Pinch of asafoetida
Instructions

- Heat the oil in a pan.
- Add fenugreek seeds. Fry until they turn golden.
- Turn the fire to very low. Add cumin seeds and coriander seeds. Fry for 15 seconds.
- Add dry red chilies and optional grated coconut and curry leaves.
- Throw in a pinch of asafoetida. Mix well.
- Remove the pan from the fire and set aside to cool.
Grind to a smooth powder.
