Sweet Lemon Ginger Power Beet Juice Recipe

Beet juice

love this naturally sweetened beet juice recipe with fresh lemon plus soothing ginger and cucumber. High in vitamin C and essential minerals! We have fallen in love with making vegetable juices at home. Think of juicing as a quick way to get lots of vitamins and nutrients into your body. We don’t do juice cleanses and don’t use juices as a meal replacement. Instead, we love making a small veggie-packed juice and enjoying it with our (usually fibre-rich) breakfast or lunch.

We also stick to mostly veggies when juicing since adding lots of fruit makes the sugar content skyrocket —for another veggie-based juice, here’s our green detox juice recipe. So far, our favourite veggies to juice are beets and carrots — they are already naturally sweet and really don’t need much help from fruit to make the juice taste incredible.

For this juice recipe, we combine beets with lemon, ginger and cucumber. Beets are sweet and earthy, lemon and ginger add zing, and the cucumber adds mineral-rich water

This is no fairness cream commercial, but beetroots are known to brighten up your skin complexion a little, but organically! Beetroot juice is not only a yummy drink to sip on, but it works as a detoxifying agent that can purify your blood. A complete detox is bound to give you an envious glow and an improved skin complexion. Voila!

Their dyeing properties have made them the most sought-after ingredient in the cosmetic industry. They are not only rich in antioxidants but also help skin your lips with a gorgeous pink hue! The vitamin C in beets helps in decreasing melanin formation which can do good for dark and pigmented lips. What are you waiting for? Rub a chilled slice on your pucker!

Dull and lifeless skin is a common problem these days and beetroots target that! Being rich in iron and carotenoids, they are a saviour for dry and parched skin.
