On World Population Day, our school is organising a function. Some people from foreign countries will attend it. They will visit our school tomorrow and see the functioning and activities of our school tomorrow and see the functioning and activities of our school. “They will see the entertainment programmes and share an Indian meal with us,” said Mrs Jyoti, the head teacher of class V. She asked all of us to be at our best in our behaviour. We are excited to know that we will welcome the guests and guide them around the school premises.
“Let us all prepare an action plan, ” said Mrs Jyoti. She asked two girls to wear traditional Indian dresses like saree, lehenga or salwar kameez. They will shower petals on the visitors she also asked two boys to stand in conventional clothes like dhoti kurta, achkan, and kurta-pyjama. They will apply tikka on the forehead of the guests. They were also asked to say ”Namaskar” with a smiling face.

Then, she told the prefects of the class V sections, to wear an extra clean uniform. They will wear their ‘Prefect. badges. They will stand up in respect as soon as the guests enter the school. They will guide the guests to the library, laboratories, classrooms, playground and finally the school auditorium. They will also answer questions posed by the guests. Moreover, they should answer confidently and politely.
Some students were chosen to help the science teachers lay the table and serve food to the guests. These students will wear white overalls and white headdresses. The teacher said that we should treat our guests as God.

The visitors to the school arrived on time the following day. Everything went according to schedule. Well-trained and well-mannered students guided and helped the visitors.
At the end of the visit, the leader of the delegation got up to propose a vote of thanks. He said, “We have been to many institutions worldwide. This school is no less than the top schools in the world. We all are impressed by the school, especially by the hospitality the children have shown to us. They make India shine.” The students cheered the speaker loudly.
