PUBLIC PROPERTY

The property that belongs to all of us is called the public property. Schools, parks, trains, railway stations, roads, monuments, streetlights, etc. do not belong to any one person.

A school is a place where any child can get admission. All the children in a school study and play together. In a school, there are chairs, tables, blackboards and fans. The teachers and children use them. We should not damage them.

Next, we should not make the walls of our classroom dirty. We should not throw waste paper here and there in the school. We should throw them in the dustbin.

A park is a place where children play and enjoy themselves. A number of people go to parks for morning and evening walks. Gardens are also used for picnics. There are flowers, fountains, beaches and plants in the garden. We should not pluck flowers and damage the plants in the garden. They add beauty to the park.

Some people picnic at parks but forget to gather the waste thrown by them during the picnic. This is a terrible habit. We should always collect waste paper, eatables, wrappers, etc. in a bag and put the bag in the dustbin.

Trains are also our public property. We should never spit or write side the bogies. Damaging the berths by tearing their covers is a very bad habit. Many historical monuments are our heritage. There are many street lights, electricity and telephone poles in cities and towns. Some children throw pebbles and damage them. They are our public property. The lights light up our streets at night. The electricity and the telephone poles bring electricity and telephone lines to our houses. So, we should not damage them.

All of us get benefits from different items of public property. These things are made for our convenience. If we damage public property, we will have some problems.
