Carrot Cucumber Onion Raita / Perugu Pachadi

Ingredients

  • 1 small cup of Yogurt/Curd
  • 3 tsp grated Carrot
  • 3 tsp finely chopped cucumber
  • 3 tsp finely chopped Onion
  • 2 Green Chillies finely chopped(Optional)
  • 1tsp finely chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Salt to taste

For Tempering (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Urad Dal
  • 2 Red Chillies
  • few Curry Leaves
  • 1 tsp Oil

Instruction

Place yoghurt in a mixing bowl and whisk well. Then add the above ingredients except for Tempering.

Mix well and keep aside. Heat oil in a small frying pan add Tempering ingredients and fry, once done add it to the prepared curd mixture and mix well. Now carrot capsicum raita is ready. Serve it as a side dish for rice or roti.
