Instant Tomato Onion Chutney / Tomato Ullipaya Pachadi

  • 3 Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1 sp Jaggery(optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • few Curry Leaves

Combine chutney ingredients except jaggery grind into a paste and keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan add Tempering and fry, once done add curry leaves and fry for 30 seconds.

Then add ground chutney and stir well, allow it to cook for a couple of minutes.

Then add in jaggery give it a good stir and again cook for one more minute.

After that turn off the flame and let it cool completely, now tomato onion chutney is ready.

Serve this instant tomato onion chutney with Rice, dosa, idli, Roti or uttapam.
