Sweet Corn Halwa

  • 1 cup Corn Kernels
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 pinch of Elaichi Powder
  • 4 sp Ghee
  • 2 sp chopped Dry Fruits

Grind corn kernels into paste without adding water and set aside. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add ground corn paste and stir-fry over medium heat for 2 minutes.

Add the milk and cook until the milk has evaporated, then add the sugar and stir constantly over low heat until the mixture comes away from the sides.

Once done, add elaichi powder and chopped dry fruits and mix well.
Sweet corn halwa/corn sheera is ready, transfer into a serving bowl garnish with chopped dry fruits and serve hot or cool.
