Teachers’ Day Celebrations

Ballu and Neelu were walking home from school when Ballu asked if there was something special tomorrow.

“Yes, Ballu,” Neelu replied with a smile. “Tomorrow is Teacers’Day It’s a day when we celebrate all the teachers who dedicate their time teaching us and making learning fun.”

“Really? But why is it September 5th and not some other day Ballu asked curiously.

“There is a long history to it. Teacher’s Day is celebrated ona the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishna. When Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was the President. Some of his students approached him to celebrate it as Teachers’day.” Explained Neelu.

Wow, that, ‘s amazing!” Ballu said, impressed.

Neelu continued. “Dr. Radhakrishnan believed teachers are the best, minds in the country, and valued their contributions to the society.

Motivated by this story, Ballu and Neelu decided to plan special celebrations for the society.”

On September 5th, their teachers were delighted by all the thoughtful gifts and heartfelt appreciation. It turned out to be a perfect day filled with joy and gratitude for their admirable teachers.
