Ingredients used in Frankie – Katti Roll

• Egg – 1 no.

• Coriander leaves (chopped) – 1 spring.

• Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon.

• Cumin powder – 1 teaspoon.

• Bell pepper (chopped) – 1 no.

• Lemon juice – 1 no .• Chat masala – 1/2 teaspoon.

• Chili powder – 1 tablespoon.

• Tomato (chopped) – 3 numbers.

• Turmeric powder – pinch.

• Onion (chopped) – 1 no.

• Ginger and garlic (minced) – 1 tablespoon.

• Chicken (minced/cut into small pieces) – 500 grams.

• Water – as needed. • Oil – as needed.

• Salt – to taste.

• Wheat flour – 1/4 cup.

• Maida / all-purpose flour – 1 cup.

• Cumin – 1/2 tsp.

How to make Frankie



Take a bowl, add maida, Beat an egg and keep it aside. Take a pan, add oil, cumin seeds, crushed ginger and garlic, onion, cook till onions are golden brown. Then add turmeric powder, chopped tomatoes, chopped bell pepper, chill powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder along with 1/4 cup of water, mix well and cook for 5 minutes.

To it, add chicken, mix well and cook with a closed lid till the chicken is tender, Add chaat masala, lemon juice, and coriander leaves and keep it aside. Now take the dough, make a thin chapati, apply oil spread all over, then sprinkle maida and fold it. Later fold the sheet like strips as shown in the photo, circle it and press in the center, rest it for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, roll it again into a chapati, add it to the tava cook both sides lightly, apply oil on one side then spread the beaten egg on top spread and turn it over.

Once it is cooked, transfer it to a plate then add the cooked chicken mixture, sprinkle sliced onions, tomatoes, bell pepper, lemon juice, and roll the chapati as frankie. Serve it hot.
